There are actually 6 trails up to the crater rim of Mt. Rinjani where you can be gobsmacked by all the different hues of blues from the lake and the sky. Three of the trails give you access to the lakeside and the hotsprings. Our founder Jin has made it to the crater rim 5 times now and whether you choose to trek Sembalun Crater Rim in order to summit to Rinjani and take your iconic photo 3726 meters above sea level or you choose the more scenic climb through the jungle to Senaru Crater Rim; it is highly recommended that everyone descends by the Torean Trail. There are multiple hotsprings to soak in on the way down AND you will be amazed by the valley views and the panoramic views of multiple waterfalls.
Outlined below is our recommended route: 3 Days 2 Nights Senaru Crater Rim - Lakeside - Torean Trail
Because of the limited flights this is best Wednesday to Sunday.
Recommended Itinerary:

Fly Singapore 07:45am to 10:35am Lombok
Meet your driver
Transfer to Senaru (±3hr), stopping in Mataram for local lalapan lunch
Trekking to Tiu Kelep and Sendang Gili waterfalls
Home-made dinner
Stay 1 night at guesthouse -
Wake up and breakfast
07:30am start trekking from Senaru starting point
It takes about 6-8 hours total walking time to reach the crater rim.
There are 3 stops (POS) along the way where you will be resting and snacking and having lunch.
Camping -
Sunrise at Senaru Crater Rim
Descend to lakeside (2hr)
Hotspring and lunch
Continue down the Torean Trail (±4hrs)
Camping in the jungle -
Wake up for breakfast
Continue descent down Torean Trail about 6-8hours total walking
Pick up from Torean village and transfer to Senaru to shower and pack
1 night in guesthouse -
Depart at 05:30am for airport
Stopping for a quick breakfast if time allows
Fly Lombok 11:20am to 14:10pm Singapore

From the moment that you arrive at Lombok airport, until you are dropped back off. You will be taken care of.
The only additional costs you might incur are: souvenirs, alcoholic beverages, and any other optional services that are available (i.e. massages, meals that are not listed, or any added services)
